More than anything, traveling at this point is mostly about gaining experience in the world. Whether or not these experiences teach me life lessons or open new doors or help me to 'see the light', or fade into a distant memory, I need to have these experiences to test my character, challenge myself, and to see new things.
You need to have a broad spectrum of experiences to decide what you want to do in this world and what you are to this world in the hopes of figuring out what to dedicate yourself to, how, and where.
